We Are La Cocina: A Celebration of Women and Immigrant Chefs at Saté Kampar

On Wednesday, June 26th at Sate Kampar, Chef and Owner Angelina Branca is thrilled to host Chef Nafy Flatley of Teranga and Dayana Salazar from El Huarache Loco for a special night celebrating their food, struggle and stories.  We Are La Cocina offers evocative and beautiful stories about food, people and place. Over 40 stories from the women who have used their talent and their food to pursue economic freedom and over 120 of their recipes for you to taste that success in your home. This book offers home cooks a glimpse into the world of La Cocina, and the world around all of us. Join Chef Branca, Salazar and Flatley for an evening of sharing stories over delicious interpretations of the recipes in the book.  Each guest will take home a copy of We Are La Cocina, and the memories of an incredible meal!  If you are unable to attend, "We Are La Cocina" books are available online and wherever amazing books are sold.
